APPEARANCE
A Pale-skinned beauty with lithe build and platinum-white hair and violet eyes, Aether is a soft bodied and even tempered individual who borders on being very shy when it comes to crowds of strangers. He tends to have long hair that he keeps either pulled up into a top-knot or tied back in a ponytail, though the length varies depending on how long it's been since he's allowed it to be cut or trimmed. He wears the hallmark of a healer, often supporting those he runs with to the best of his ability. He has tapered ears, and wears few pieces of jewelry including piercings. He wears a choker or leather thong necklace with a specific stone charm on it, and different bangles but always one particular silver bracelet that is engraved with a single statement: Never Lost, Never Alone, Always Protected.PERSONALITY
Aether is a fairly shy individual, though will often times take it upon himself to tentatively start a conversation if the person that he's around seems uncertain or uncomfortable, his soft tone and genuine concern for others often helps to disarm those who are overly cautious and wary of people in general. His aura is that of a person others want to follow, and he typically is quick to make friends, and allies no matter where he goes. This is both a source of concern and contention for those closest to him, as he tries to see the good in others, despite potentially opening himself up for pain.BACKGROUND
Aether is the younger of twins and is gentler and much more awkward than his assured brother, Kieran is. As an infant, Kieran and Aether underwent several medical and militant experimentations that bordered on torture for Aether who was of a weaker constitution.Despite attempts at 'euthanasia' for Aether, Kieran proved to be unable to part from his twin even as an infant and the resulting compromise was that Kieran was experimented upon doubly while Aether was kept alive for the sake of Kieran's health. At a young age, he and Kieran were handed over to a warder who took the compensation meant to keep Kieran and Aether healthy and alive, and used the funds to feed herself and her addictions, when Aether was 12, the woman had invited another person to her home in hopes of a relationship, but was ghosted by the man and fell asleep in an intoxicated stupor after fixing a meal for herself and her ghosted date.Kieran snuck the meals meant for her and her no-show to make sure Aether had food, and when the pair slept that night, Aether was awoken to the sound of someone screaming obscenities at him, and then was yanked from his pillow and slammed onto the floor with her hands around his neck. Confused and terrified, Aether struggled to pry himself free of her wrath and on the verge of blacking out, suddenly found Kieran over him, and yelling at him to get up and that they had to go.Without any word or warning, Kieran pulled Aether to his feet, had him grab any and every piece of clothing or belongings they had to their name, stuff them into backpacks, and yanked him out the door without ever allowing them to look back, for the next several years, they moved from place to place, with Kieran stealing and cheating people out of money to make sure they had a place to sleep and food in their bellies. One such incursion of cheating people lead to Kieran and Aether running afoul of Death's Hand, a group of 'liberators' who sought the downfall of Garlemald and used any means to reach their ends. Kieran had managed to get the attention of Tetsuya Sakoda, known only as "Death" or "D" and earned a hit being placed on his head by Tetsuya's group. When discovering the trouble that Kieran had wrought for himself, Aether took Kieran's place by entering Tetsuya's territory and confronting him directly, asking for a pardon on his brother's behalf if he could fulfill that role by providing Tetsuya with any task he might need done, while not as adept and skilled as Kieran in the ways of the world, Aether proved an invaluable asset to Tetsuya, much to the dismay and chagrin of Kieran who insisted that Aether leave Death's Hand and they flee again.Denying Kieran this wish, Aether expressed that he was committed to keeping his word and taking Kieran's place as the proverbial sacrificial lamb of Tetsuya's ire, and remained in their custody by choice, leading Kieran to be on his own without the presence of his gentler twin.Despite being a proverbial 'gang darling' to Death's Hand, Aether has earned a place as the head of Tetsuya's empire after Tetsuya had to attend to family matters that put his blood relatives at risk. Now the leader of the Aspect Arcana, Aether maintains the day to day of the (former) Death's Hand elites while simultaneously thwarting several plans and plots from different factions, including the Ascians after it was discovered that he not only possessed the Echo, but was the Source's fragment of Azem.Since his time in Elpis, he discovered that he is the fragment of Eos, an Ancient who was promised and betrothed to Aidoneus, Hades' younger brother and past life of Tetsuya Sakoda.

Itsuki is a very gentle creature in appearance, with soft features and gentle eyes, long and loose-flowing silksoft platinum hair and cream-light skin, he often wears a variety of color though is more likely to wear darker contrasts to his paler countenance, and can also be found in some pastels of wisteria purple, seafoam green, and woad blues. He is petite and smiles often, lithe and agile in build without an overtly muscled tone. He has the ability to adjust or change his appearance and gender depending on the 'wish' of the people who have asked him to.PERSONALITY
Itsuki, also nicknamed Wish or Yurei, is a very gentle person, and can often be easily intimidated by people who are overtly demanding or cruel, and is often well guarded by the other members of his performance troupe Demono Engel. While the majority of his troupe have other roles behind the performer visage, Itsuki is often relied upon to help create the illusions and glamour utilized by the troupe to bring about more mystique to their performances and keep their alter-jobs and roles hidden from the general public as enforcers and information runners for Death's Hand.He is quiet and at times unsure of himself in the presence of strangers, and typically well guarded by the Engel boys especially when it comes to people pursuing him intimately or romantically, he is devoutly loyal to his friends, and is wary with attachments. Unless the person trying to court him is dedicated to being his only person, he tends to be affectionate, but selective with intimacy.BACKGROUND
[NOTE] An entelechy is a lifeform that can interact with Dynamis to output tangible effects. It is a concept introduced in Endwalker, and the first known example is the Elpis flower. Meteion, a lifeform created from dynamis by Hermes, is one of the most prominent entelechies. After the Sundering, the aetheric density of living beings was greatly decreased, which increased their connection to dynamis. Lifeforms that were able to manipulate dynamis because of this, such as the player character (as seen through limit breaks), could be considered entelechies. The ancient Venat hoped that these newfound entelechies would be able to combat the Endsinger.(This Background Is Under Construction)

APPEARANCE
Although identical to his twin brother, Aether, Kieran tends to wear his hair at a much shorter length and untamed regardless of the style it's residing in. He's the type to run a hand through his hair to make sure it's untangled, but will not fuss over it outside of basic grooming habits. He is meticulously clean however, and does not enjoy being dirty or sweaty for long and will often shower or bathe after any kind of strenuous activity.
His white hair has an opalescent sheen to it, resulting in the color obtaining highlights of various color depending on the light and atmosphere of the place he's in, and he can almost always be seen wearing a suppression collar and sometimes cuffs though doesn't explain the reason behind them to anyone that asks.PERSONALITY
Kieran is a bit rough around the edges, a childhood spent being subjected to every kind of experimentation, both medical and militant, including soul transference has resulted in him being very untrusting of medical personnel as well as authority figures. Because of the transference experimentation he has developed a dissociative identity known only as 'Rhune' whom often takes over Kieran's conscience when his suppression collar is removed, resulting in Kieran often blanking or blacking out and finding only destruction in his wake. Because of this, he is very defensive of the collar being removed, and often warns those he trusts that he wears it for the protection of others, as he has no control over the situation and fears causing harm where it is not wanted. He can be sardonic and sarcastic when it comes to interacting with people, and often conveys a bratty personality or other defensive mechanisms to discourage people from getting too close, however he craves affection and will often times fall into vying for a person's attention if they have made him comfortable enough to be near them.[Warning Note: Kieran is somewhat a masochist, pain becomes pleasure to him, but he does have a limit. He will become uncomfortable when approaching that limit, and if pushed beyond it, Rhune takes over. You don't want Rhune to take over.]BACKGROUND
Kieran doesn't enjoy speaking about his past with anyone, and unless the person who knows about his background is a close friend, or a hunter looking to score big on a bounty, he's hard pressed to express anything beyond vague references and a skittish behavior towards certain things. His childhood is filled with bad memories, as he and his twin brother, Aether, underwent multiple medical and military experiments from the day they were lifted from their parent's womb, though Aether was the weaker of the pair and sought to be rid of, Kieran's bond with their twin stayed Aether's execution, as Kieran was physically and emotionally inconsolable any time that Aether was taken too far away from him. While Aether wasn't put through nearly as much as Kieran had been, the two were traumatized until they were 11 years old, and were given to a woman to be raised until 18 when their maturity could be exploited again by experimentation. The woman they had been given to however, was an addict who used any appropriated funds for them, to serve herself. At age 12, the woman had been all but starving Kieran and Aether and to make sure his twin had enough to eat, Kieran snuck food that the woman had made for one of her newest boyfriends (whom ghosted her that night) to make sure Aether ate. When the woman found that the meal she'd made for herself and her date missing, and the plates in the twins' room, she immediately took to abusing Aether, going insofar as to knock the pre-teen to the floor and wrap her hands around his neck, intent on killing him.Out of panic and protective need, Kieran took up a ceramic lamp and subsequently beat the woman with it, until she was left bloodied and unmoving on the floor. He prevented Aether from seeing her and instead distracted his confused and frightened twin with packing everything they could to get the hell out of that place and find a way to survive on their own.For the better part of seven years, Kieran and Aether were on the move and on the run from the military hands that wanted them, and getting into trouble of a different sort when they crossed the wrong group and Kieran got the attention of the group's leader, Tetsuya Sakoda, and earned a mark on his head for elimination. To prevent Kieran from being harmed, Aether sold himself to Tetsuya as an errand boy, taking on any task that Tetsuya had for him regardless of how low it was, and despite Kieran's insistance in Aether not going with the man, ended up on his own after Aether sacrificed his proverbial freedom to save him.As a result, Kieran became embittered and skittish around people, doing what he had to do shy of selling himself in order to survive. His existence is still well known to the black market circles that have been trying to cash in on the ever-growing bounty on his head to be returned to Garlemald, despite the empire's fall. There are several unknown entities that seem keen on obtaining him, and discovering what it was that the empire had done to make him worth so much value.

APPEARANCE
Krios is a delicate young man who holds a pale countenance and even paler hair and opalescent eyes, never staying one color and always seeming to change depending on the light and mood. He's also very petite in stature, but makes up for a lack of height with the tenacity befitting only a member of the Convocation. Twin brother to Eos, and younger sibling of Venat, both holding the mantle of Azem during his formative and latter years, the only means to tell he and Eos apart is by the length of their hair and Krios' much more sickly appearance.PERSONALITY
Krios is a very gentle soul, often providing counsel and also bringing joy to others with his placid and almost pacifist nature, he is soft spoken and quick to apologize even if he's done nothing wrong. He often tries to be a mediator during disputes, offering insight and answers to questions that no one has ever thought of, ever pushing the limit of what could at times be considered almost blasphemous to his fellow convocated. He has a terrible fear of thunderstorms, and this fear instilled a conviction in his twin brother Eos, before taking the mantle of Azem, in 'borrowing' some of the concepts with aid from the Chief of the Architect's bureau and keeping the tasks hidden from Krios. He is close friends to Hythlodaeus, and Hades by proxy outside of the convocation walls due to their childhoods being together, and acted as mentor and advisor to the Chief of Elpis, Hermes.BACKGROUND
Krios became the Convocation's seat of Fandaniel at just 19-years-old, one of the youngest members of the convocation besides Themis' seat as Elidibus, taking on the task of understanding extant phenomena and discovering the existence and subsequent need for magnetic fields aside from his contributions to the creators in Elpis and providing reason for a creation's existence.Younger sibling to Venat, and twin to the current incarnation of Azem, his brother Eos, Krios often could be found stargazing at the highest platforms in Elpis, always seeming to wish to reach for the stars, despite being chastised as a dreamer by friends such as Hades, or somewhat discouraged by the seat of Nabriales, who saw his theoretical questions and pursuits as a waste of precious time.During the course of his time as the seat of Fandaniel however, Krios became ill after being exposed to a new energy that the creators in Elpis, scholars in Anyder, and even the convocation knew nothing about, dubbing the odd energy 'Dynamis', the only one whom he found he could readily discuss the substance with was the man that Krios had kept in his thoughts as his successor, the Chief of Elpis, Hermes.Attempting to put Dynamis to applicable use, Krios and Hermes performed several experiments to better understand how it worked and came to be, and found that it was heavily influenced by emotion, when expressing that such things could lead to dangerous consequence in the wrong hands, and citing his confrontations with Nabriales as a source, Krios attempted to halt their experiments, not knowing that Hermes secretly had used Dynamis in his creation of the Entelechy, Meteion and her siblings.Growing weaker by the day, Krios announced unexpectedly that he was intent on vacating his position and handing the seat over to Hermes as his successor, questioned for his reasoning by Emet-Selch and many of the other convocates, he expressed that he was feeling worn and sought to return to the star. This announcement did not sit well with the convocation members, and least of all, Hermes himself. The argument that followed left Krios completely flabbergasted that Hermes refused to simply accept that Krios sought death over a lifetime of achievement. When trying to explain to Hermes that he didn't seek to just erase his legacy, Hermes fled to his creations and demanded an answer to the single most frightening question Krios had ever dared ask."What is the meaning of life?"This one question Krios had answered, but Hermes had not heard him, or felt there was more to the answer he was given. Much to Krios' sadness and chagrin, Hermes sought to find more to the answer he had provided, than Krios could give, and it left Krios entrusting his decision and it's handing down to Hermes, with Emet-Selch and the Bureau Chief, Hythlodaeus to advise that he had been Krios' chosen successor.A few scant months after Hermes was set to take over, despite odd behavior that had Krios questioning if the man had been all right and just accepted the position, but Hermes seemed to have become distant and spent less time in Krios' counsel. Trying to put out of his mind the thought that Hermes no longer saw him as a mentor or friend, he began to have nightmares and often woke to the sorrowing sound of a song that seemed to come from everywhere and nowhere all at once.It was during one of these nightmares that Krios awoke to the sky falling, strange beasts overtaking the city streets of Amaurot and people running, fleeing them in the chaos, he witnessed multiple horrific deaths, and though weak and not knowing where his brother or older sister were in the crisis, he tried in vain to help save his people... succumbing to the First Doom in a bloody demise. It would be ages later that Krios awoke in a different form, with little memory of his death, or the fact that his sister had been the cause for the world's sundering. Never having known of the existence of Zodiark or subsequently, Hydaelyn, he found himself encapsulated in the body of another, a second soul who could only sit idly by and watch life from a proverbial passenger's seat, unable to manifest except in times of high stress and crisis, defending his host body with the unsundered power of an Ancient.Lamenting the loss of his family, his people, and the man he had entrusted his hopes into, Krios spends his days as an afterthought in other people's lives, striving to see the good in the world once more, while encouraging mankind, to learn the path to walk.

APPEARANCE
Lachesis is a pale-skinned and dancer-built youth of indiscernible age, who keeps their long hair pulled back in a high top-knot to avoid it dragging on the ground. They are petite in stature but carry an aura of wisdom that extends far beyond their physical features.
They have an ever smiling look on their face, but a haunted, almost sorrowed emotion in their eyes that betrays that kind look and can often be thought of seeming indifferent. They wear the hallmark of a support, often seen attending to others via healing magicks or providing counsel to others in the form of protection and advice.PERSONALITY
Lachesis can be seen as a very kind and gentle person, whose outward behavior seems fairly introverted. They often are seen by themselves but watching others as they go about their day to day routines, and seems to be a bit of an observer who avoids interfering in other's lives. He is fairly down-to-earth in terms of interaction and shows stalwart compassion and patience towards even the most unruly of situations. This isn't to say that he cannot be stern or experience anger, but it is hard to push him to such extremes unless the means of doing so are at the expense of those he has taken to watching out for. He has a very low tolerance for people besmirching or assaulting his favored, and will make his displeasure known fairly quickly.BACKGROUND
Lachesis is a Progenitor, a creature as old as the beginning of time itself, and though they seem young despite this fact, they have memories of times before mankind was even able to have written histories, or words to speak their stories into legend. As a progenitor, they are duty bound to oversee the path of existence for mortals and immortals alike, and often try to avoid getting too heavily involved with people, as they are not at liberty to 'assist' people, making it very difficult to remain impartial when it comes to people they have taken a shining to.As a result, Lachesis smiles often, but the smile doesn't seem to fully mask the pain and frustration of being told not to get attached. They have broken their vow a handful of times with devastating results, carrying the guilt of those outcomes on their shoulders silently.Nevertheless, mortals fascinate them, and they often find a few that can keep their attention for extended periods of time, but there is a reluctance to become more involved than as a passing fancy, the exception to the rule are those who are called "Anomalies", creatures whose fates are not clear, or yet to be written. These people are rare, and can cause great harm or be a boon to the 'Weave', the perpetually existent state of being that creates the paths fate follows, these people often are watched carefully by Lachesis, and for good or for ill, are guided or culled.Lachesis has a very big hesitance in taking a life, but if it is required, they often mourn the person they were responsible for culling for ages. One man in particular Lachesis carries with them always, their life and existence protected in the Nebula-Like orb that dangles at their throat and causes Lachesis to become defensive of if someone inquires. They love deeply, but have not yet found their soulmate, and have doubts they might ever find them, the volatile nature of their role as a progenitor also provides them a disadvantage, in every universe, and in every lifetime, Lachesis' existence is a fragment of their true self, and the more existences that come to be, the more fragments of Lachesis there are that exists, and the less Lachesis can remember anything of their past, it becomes a source of distress when the only thing they can remember, is their duty.

APPEARANCE
Touya is a pale-haired youth who looks approximately 20 years of age, but has been around for far longer.
He has white hair tipped in black ink, and blue-grey eyes that often seem tired or disinterested.
He has wolfish ears, and a thick tail that is also tipped in ink like his hair. He is sun kissed bronze in skin tone, though in brighter light seems to hold the color of blush champagne.PERSONALITY
Touya is loyal to a fault, and spent the latter part of his younger years in service to the son of his lord. Initially of the samurai class, Touya has taken on several different vassal roles, often acting as a guardian or bodyguard to the people who have hired him or earned his respect. He seems to be perpetually tired, and disillusioned with his life, and will often speak to others in a sardonic manner, expressing his will to cease existing after having his heart and honor betrayed by someone he loved dearly.Though initially stand-offish and prudish when interacting, once past the tempered exterior, one can see that Touya's heart is still mending, and is seeking a new purpose in his life.BACKGROUND
Over twelve-hundred years ago Touya's life started as a series of cycles that never ended, born (originally) in the First Umbral era of Eorzea, each life he lived was marked by a tragedy, so many that happened in fact that it was thought he was forever cursed, a pure soul that was shown and endless amount of suffering that even the Gods had no explanation for.His most recent incarnations had suffered the greatest tragedies his watchers had ever known, and the recorded histories written down about said lives are marked by the events. As had happened in every life time (Touya's birthdate perpetually being June 5th, and always alternating between the asian Zodiac signs) Touya was born to a mother that died giving him life, and a father that couldn't get over the fact that his eyes through his infancy and into his young-adult hood were perpetually storm blue, an unnatural color that lead many to believe he wasn't human. Added to this fact was that his hair color /never/ darkened, if anything from his childhood and until he became a teenager, it continued to pale in color from golden-blonde to silver-white.Many people within the village considered him a demon, and often called him a ghost (Yurei), his father's ever growing resentment to the fact that his child had been the result of his wife's death treated him with less-than-noticeable contempt. When he was around ten however, he met with and grew close to the three boys whom would be both his reason for living, as well as his closest friends, Seiji, Kenichi, and Amaru.Throughout his young childhood and into his teens, Touya, Seiji, Kenichi and Amaru were all like brothers, each willing to take the fall for the others, and while it took some time for their families to grow accustomed to how close the boys had become, even Touya's father was willing to smile once in a while that maybe his son wasn't all THAT cursed, his father even (as a birthday gift when he was 15) had a sword made for him, one that became his pride and joy... Mizukami no Koe.Then, tragedy struck. The western movement into the Eastern countries had become prominent and there was whispers of Kugane wanting to modernize and change, many of the people that were growing up during this time were met with uncomfortable circumstances, Touya had long enlisted with his friends as guardians of the old ways, serving the various shogunate regions however they could, by the spring of his 16th year, he had traveled far from the tiny village of his birth and sought to maintain the shogunate regime by serving the Tachikawa clan, where he'd met the (then) belligerent son of the Shogun, Kibayashi.Oh, how Touya could have killed the boy with as many times as was loomed over his head the differences between their stations, Touya, the son of a samurai family, and 'Kiba' the child of a Daimyo Shogunate, were about as ill-fated as lovers as you could get, but sometime during his 17th year he (confoundedly) understood just how much he'd grown to care for Kiba, particularly after the young Lord became his master after Touya turned 18. The world was becoming a quickly changing place, much to the dizzying fact and acceptance of Touya's brethren. Following the orders of the Emperor, many young men found themselves at a loss when much beloved weapons were being torn physically out of their fingers by the Empire's forces, Touya, his three 'brothers' and several other young men were often met with opposition just entering another town as representatives of Kiba's shinsengumi forces, and more often than not had to return home and explain their reasons.Kiba had grown furious with this fact, particularly when the Meiji Isshin was to blame for his father's death. Touya, usually being the more level headed of the congregation, often took Kiba aside to help him 'cool off' before he made a snap decision that would cost them all dearly, despite his best efforts however, Kiba's grief over his father's death was still so profound that on a very cold and storm-ridden night during the winter, he'd foolishly ran out and gotten lost in the mountain snows. For HOURS Touya, Seiji, Ken, and Amaru searched for their lord, with Touya finding him half-frozen in the snow, it would be hours later that they got him home and warmed, Touya having sacrificed much of his own clothing to keep Kiba warm during the trip, but despite surviving the near-fatal tragedy, illness had settled in and left Kiba weak and unable to do anything save from the confines of his futon. In his frustration, Kiba would often lash out at people for treating him with delicate care, but was often surprised by the fact that Touya /never/ babied, him. Despite the risk to his own health, Touya was often the one being snarled at by Kiba's caretakers for exposing the young Shogun to the outside world, provided it was warm and Touya was allowed to be with him at all times, the more that time went on, the closer they became, it was when Touya turned 19 that he told Kiba (shockingly) that he loved him, and swore to the other that his life, and yes, even his soul, would forever belong to the stricken Lord.Like a thief in the night however, fate always has a way of finding it's way in, the tragedy that would mark the end of this (seemingly happy) life he was now leading, came in the form of a (literal) monster. Ayashi Fukumi, a man posing himself as a physician and advisor to Kiba, saw Touya as competition for what he wanted, and what he wanted was Kiba. He often set things into motion that took Touya far away from Kiba, but much to his chagrin, the proverbial 'loyal dog' always managed to find his way home.Deciding to take matters into his own hands, Ayashi let it slip to Kiba that the procurers of his father's demise were closing in on Kiba's territory with intent on bringing it into the Empire. Infuriated by the audacity of such an action, Kiba ordered the people found and their lives forfeited in an act of revenge for his father's own tragic death. Despite his best efforts to discourage Kiba's revenge, Touya found that Kiba's resolve would not be moved by his words this time, and reluctantly vowed to give Kiba what it was he wished, the lives of the Emperor's own.Having set out with Seiji, Kenichi, and Amaru several nights after, the events that followed would reaffirm to his soul, and the gods that he was still part of a larger scheme. When the troupe decided to take two watches over the course of the night to see when these infiltrators might come across into their lord's lands, it was during the breaking hours of twilight that Touya began to feel unnerved, he and Amaru had not heard or even been given a signal from Seiji and Kenichi in some time and despite wishing not to break protocol, at risk of letting someone sneak past, Touya couldn't shake the sudden feeling of dread that lay in his stomach and went with Amaru to find the missing pair. What he came upon would be the last waking memory he held of his once beloved friends.Body parts lay strewn like fall leaves in a torrential wind, blood hung thick in the air and the wildlife of the forest outskirting the Shogunate domain had already begun to pick at them like fresh carrion, near sick with the vision that met his eyes, Touya was ill prepared for what he saw lying before him in the quickly fading light, Ayashi, hovering over Seiji's broken body like a hungry wolf, was tearing at the flesh of his brother's throat and drinking every drop of blood that still flowed from it, Amaru he could hear shrieking behind him in horror, and when Ayashi moved to lunge for the youngest member of the four, Touya threw himself in harms way, thrust his sword in Amaru's hands, and yelled at the boy to run. Blindly Amaru had fled, taking a horse and just rushing back for the sanctuary of the shogunate, leaving Touya behind to face a fate that has haunted him to this day.Ayashi was a merciless beast, despite being met with strong opposition in the form of Touya's resistance (and oh, was Touya's strength surprising to the vampire), he captured and tortured Touya in the most excruciating way possible. Keeping Touya alive (but barely) for several months, he repeatedly ordered and tried to force Touya to reject his loyalty to Kiba, in order to save himself. Having known love so strongly for the ailing Lord, Touya's repeated refusal to do so earned him only more horrific treatment. The more Touya resisted, the harsher the punishments, much to Ayashi's consternation and rage however, Touya's will never wavered, and the 20-year-old died with Kiba still on his mind.Thrust through the perpetual nightmare of the cycle beginning all over again, Touya found himself with the memories of his previous life still lingering, and in a body that was not entirely his own, the last waking thoughts he had were of dark shadows looming over him in threat of tearing him apart, and all he could think was that he'd finally entered hell. It wasn't until the kind and concerned face of an elder male, one he presumed was either an elder brother or event he youthful father of the body he now inhabited, came into view and chased the frightening sights away that he understood he'd again been reborn. This lifetime took him from the things he knew best and threw him into an unadulterated mix of chaos that had him trying to find his footing in the most recent age, after the sacrifice of Louisoix and the opening of Kugane's borders to the western influence of Aldenard. Having encountered several people along the way and finding his heart betrayed by one he had set to dedicate his life to, Touya has found it hard to adjust to the new age and in particular, ignore the strikes of nightmares and ptsd he suffers at the memory of his deaths in past lives. He has had run-ins with Kibayashi, learning too late that the fate of his young lord was becoming a vampire like Ayashi, and feeling as though he failed the man and is now being forced to atone for that failure in trying to live in the current age, and finding that he is unable to rest unless he discerns his purpose again.

APPEARANCE
Yuuhi is a petite person with bronzed skin and red eyes that shine Garnet in specific lights, they wear their air in an ornamental fashion and when set loose it flows down to the back of their knees and is colored like Raven feathers with an iridescence that reflects purples, blues, and greens in the right view. They often wear clothing that covers up much of their form, though can sometimes be found in more revealing attire if they are comfortable enough in the space they reside to do so. They wear a leather-strap choker that carries a silver sphere 'cage' that hides a deep purple-blue stone that has a small swirling of stardust in its center. They are extremely protective of it, and do not take the choker off for anything.PERSONALITY
Yuuhi is extremely defensive of themselves, when it comes to being around people in public, they can be short and snappish if their space is invaded, and outright violent if people they are not comfortable with persist in staying in their comfort zone. As heir to the Enma throne, they can act haughty and aloof, though their posturing comes from a place of trauma and ptsd. When able to peel the mask of stubborn nobility away, Yuuhi is an extremely vulnerable person who scares easily and fights tooth and nail to avoid people seeing that weakness and being taken advantage of again. After having their heart as well as their spirit practically broken by a man who not only abused their mind, body, and spirit but also attempted to have them killed by his Clan's necromancing horror, Yuuhi is hard pressed to put his trust in any person again and bears the scars of their damage on their wrists with a small mark on their throat after failing to kill themselves, which is hidden by the choker they wear at all times.BACKGROUND
Yuuhi is the Crown Prince of the Makai, the Demon Realm, or the space that Voidsent hails from. Despite the connotations of living amongst Voidsent and Demons might have; he is a stalwart defender of those who retained some semblance of intelligence as being more powerful than the mindless monsters summoned and causing havoc among the mortals. At 16, he encountered a particularly strong 'summoner' who was seeking to pull a much stronger youkai from the other plane, ending up with Yuuhi, he subjected the Voidsent prince to a life of submission, collaring and treating them as a pet.As Yuuhi aged in the mortal plane and began to grow in strength and power, he garnered the attentions of others who sought to use the pretty-faced prince to their own ends.Knowing only loyalty to his summoner, Yuuhi fought and killed many of those who would have used him, revealing his ability as a Reaper, and conveying his rank as his Summoner realized who it was that he truly had claimed, the great-grandchild of Izanami. As time passed and the Makai became unruly, sending waves of voidsent into the mortal planes in an effort to find and retrieve the Crown Prince on orders of their grandfather, Yashakoe, Yuuhi was subjected to multiple acts of violence that included being branded, sexually assaulted, and even having his tail split five ways 'surgically' which has left him with nerves that are consistently exposed and make it hypersensitive to any kind of stimulus, though touch is always painful, Yuuhi's mind has converted it to pleasure in avoidance of leaving him unable to even see if someone grabbed or mishandled it.When a fight broke loose versus the voidsent and his summoner, Yuuhi escaped and evaded capture and reclamation by running, and happened to run into the man who would be his near undoing. The wolf-like hanyou whispered sweet promises to Yuuhi that he would always be loved and protected, and convinced the Youkai Prince that they were meant to be, for two years following his escape from his domitor, the hanyou had Yuuhi convinced that he was sheltered, protected, and loved. He shared nights of tender passion, and some that were far more demanding, particularly when discovering that Yuuhi was gender-ambiguous and had the capability of conception with the person they bonded to.This revelation led to their 'mate' becoming particularly aggressive, especially in times of 'season', that he often forced Yuuhi under him, and kept hounding the prince until their joining took root. Despite being the result of forced nuptials, Yuuhi was careful and doting while expecting, though their mate suddenly lost interest in them, much to their hurt and confusion.Any attempts at trying to ask or understand why they were suddenly no longer in the hanyou's favor was met with violence, and Yuuhi catching them with others while expressing flatly that they weren't mated, had broken a resolve in the Youkai Prince's mind, and set him on a path of self-destruction which only got worse after the distress caused him to miscarry. At his most vulnerable, Yuuhi sought his 'mate' begging for aid because of the pain and blood loss from their miscarriage, and was looked upon with disgust, kicked away and sold to the man's 'uncle' who was intent on using Yuuhi for parts in necromancy.Escaping for the second time, bleeding and delirious, Yuuhi attempted to take their own life just to escape the pieces of his heart having nothing to anchor to in order to mend, he slit both wrists and attempted to do the same to his throat, but hadn't the strength to do so, lying out in the elements and losing consciousness quickly, they thought they might find peace in the everlasting dark, only to wake in a place full of bright light and people who were all running about trying to help him.In agony, Yuuhi screamed his outrage, robbed of his death by an unknown benefactor, and despite wanting little to do with people or life, nursed back to health but kept under close watch because of his attempt. At 19, he was released from the facility, still without any idea who had found him and spared him from dying at his own hand, and has been uncertain if he is grateful, or hateful towards the person that stopped him from succumbing to his self-inflicted wounds. Now again on his own, he wanders without ever truly staying in one place, he is mistrusting people but oddly responds to those who are far more dominant than his mask conveys but is quick to panic around those who cannot keep their command balanced with care.As a result, Yuuhi seems keen to seek out a firm hand that can ground him, control his fears, and keep them at bay with a whisper, and somewhere he can belong, to a person willing to call him 'mine'.[RP NOTE: Yuuhi requires aetheric energy to maintain their human-like form and not lose themselves to the voidsent curse, unlike Zero they are unable to absorb it from food and have vampiric tendencies, often drawing blood from a benefactor through bites or permitted blood-letting.]
Few members of Etheirys showed more promise than the heir to the Convocation known as Azem, though the name they carried before Venat chose them to take her place was Eos, a rather light-hearted, even impish soul, Eos spent the better part of his life pandering to his own curiosity, from visiting places in the world that the rest of his predecessors spared little notice to procure specimens used in wine served to the highest ranking members of his society, to 'borrowing' creations in order to find solutions to the world's problems. It was in these creative and at times infuriatingly defiant acts that Eos had managed to become endeared by the Bureau of the Architect's leadership as well as the esteemed seat of Emet-Selch that he often avoided reprimand and was surprisingly suggested as Venat's replacement, shortly before the Star was turned upside down.It was during an incursion to spare a village from great damage that Eos had borrowed the Seat of Lahabrea's creation, Ifrita, after bargaining and promising Hythlodaeus that the reason behind their request was not to potentially cause havoc for the rest of the convocation, that Eos returned with grand tales to tell Themis, whom revealed to have been taken on as the seat of Elidibus and was taken aside by Venat to explain her want for Eos to take her place in the Convocation of Fourteen, only a few scant months in the role however, Eos was confronted with a difficult decision, one that would forever mar the seat of Azem and pit him against his own nature when having to tell both the Convocation, and Venat 'no'.Eos suffered from visions of a future that was shrouded in shadow, an unknown power overtaking much of the Ancient's magicks, resulting in the procreation of nightmarish creatures that tore the world apart had him waking night after night in fear, in a cold sweat, and in tears that Emet-Selch's younger sibling, Aidoneus, often found himself chasing away when the normally 'sunny dispositioned' Ancient found his heart troubled by what he felt was to come, though he would never elaborate to the man on what it was his heart seemed to fear so much.It wasn't until Kairos was activated without warning or reason, that Eos sought out Emet-Selch, Hythlodaeus and found Fandaniel's heir, and the chief overseer of Elpis, Hermes with no recollection of why Kairos had been activated that Eos felt that twinge of fear suddenly grow, while the three members of the convocation seemed none the worse for wear, it was a nagging feeling in Eos' gut that whispered the start of the Star's undoing.Though attending as many of the Convocation meetings as were necessary, Eos found that the wanderlust he once had was drawing him away from the grand cities of Etheirys and looking to outer existences, as if in unknown preparation for the tragedy that was to come.It was on a night that his nightmares were far more prevalent than before that Eos woke to the sound of screaming, and as Eos ran out to find out what was going on, found a neighbor pinned by what looked to be a beast not formed by creation magicks, whose energy and aura expressed and unknown influence from beyond the reach of their Star, this creature held none of the tempered behavior that those of the Concepts accepted by the bureau held, and instead proved a negative influence that caused many whom encountered them to feel lament and despair. When hearings were called upon and the Convocation was issued a grievance to discern the nature of these monsters and why the Star seemed to be quickly depleting of energy, that the talks of creating something that would combat the dying energies of the Star and return it to a state it held before that Eos felt those nightmares becoming a painful reality, when the idea and concept of Zodiark was brought up for a vote, and most, if not all the members of the Convocation agreed, it was Eos' voice that expressed a denial, much to the shock and chagrin of the elder members of the council, and dismay by Emet-Selch that the seat of Azem was forcibly vacated, despite Eos' desperate attempts at explaining himself. After being ousted from the Convocation, Eos sought his lover, Aidoneus, to explain what had happened, and found that the younger sibling of Hades, whom held the seat of Emet-Selch, was nowhere to be found. Seeking counsel in those he considered friends, Eos found Erichthonios and discussed the situation that put him at odds with Themis, once his closest friend, and the decision of the council to create a savior for their world in the form of the Primal Zodiark, and what such a thing would entail.Having relayed the decision of the council to his predecessor, Venat, and those whom were loyal to the seat of Azem despite Eos being demoted from the position, they prepared in silence with the hope that the Convocation knew what they were doing, while Eos feared that the resulting sacrifice would be too high a cost to bear.Among Venat and twelve of her loyal followers, Eos could only sit and fret about the coming horizon and a twisted feeling in his stomach that discovering Hermes, Hades, and Hythlodaeus on the highest platform of Ktisis Hyperboreia shortly after the initiation of the Kairos which left the three unknowing of why it had been executed and continued to feel an overwhelming sense of dread until the striking of The Final Days.As the skies were lit on fire, and the heavens rained blood and Ash, Eos and many of the members of Venat's following were dismayed by the fact that the Convocation had initiated their attempt to fix the dying Star's plight with the creation of Zodiark, a dark essence Primal whom took the lives of over half the population of Etheirys to try and spare the life of their Star, when it was brought up that Zodiark would require the other half of the population to continue his work, Venat challenged that request by expressing her intent to sacrifice herself, with the support of her followers, into a creature meant to counter and balance Zodiark, her plight to Eos, as Azem, in assisting with the preparation in summoning another Primal to act in opposition of the Convocation's creation, was met with a resounding, and defiant. "No."Despite this fact and Eos wanting to find a different path of resolution, Venat still went through with her folly and upon Hydaelyn's inception, sundered Zodiark and subsequently the world, subjugating Eos to her whim and splintering his soul across Fourteen shards. With the Source retaining the strongest of them, as well as a splinter that became their twin, Kieran.Forced to become Hydaelyn's champion and hunter as well as slayer of Eikons, Eos, as Aetheriel, has spent the better part of his life on the Source and traversing to other shards such as the First, and righting the wrongs that his people had once created through the discovery of Dynamis. Forced to relive scenes of the past and finding out what had occurred to inspire Hermes to initiate Kairos, and being forced to flee lest his memories be wiped along with Hades, Hythlodaeus and Hermes, Aether found conviction in his existence and a profound sense of loathing at the fact that Venat, once his mentor, had become a Primal who guided every step of his fate as a sundered Amaurotine, to stand in opposition of the Ascians, sundered and unsundered remnants of the Convocation whom stuck true to their want to reclaim the life of their dying star and return the world to it's former glory.Pitted against former friends, and even family, Aether spent his life, and that with his twin, Kieran, trying to reclaim himself, and discerning from history and experience, just how far his former people had fallen. After confronting and slaying his former convocation mates, including Lahabrea, Fandaniel, Emet-Selch and even Elidibus, Aether stood broken-hearted and angry during his confrontation of Venat, in the form of the Primal, Hydaelyn, and took no joy in her demise. Told he was ready after being cultivated for ages across every fragment that had been joined or yet to be discovered, he raced to the end of the Universe, and lamented at the losses he suffered just to prevent the End of Days. Now somewhat 'retired' with the Primals no longer a threat, and just trying to live a life worthwhile, Aether has been found by Aidoneus, under the identity of Tetsuya Sakoda, and is being assisted in just remembering how to enjoy their life, despite the fact that they are still a shattered soul. Taking time to assist friends across the waters of Eorzea and in the new lands of Tural, Aether has strove to help keep the peace on the source, while simultaneously being reminded that he is one of the last remaining Ancients in the world.

THE ASPECT ARCANA
This faction of Death's Hand handles the intelligence aspects of all the Hand's endeavors, from gathering information to brokering data, the Arcana are well known to be able to find the details and leverage required to force hands when it comes to aspects of political inquiry or tactical negotiation. This faction of the Hand is overseen by Aetheriel Sakoda, husband to the Hand's leader, Tetsuya Sakoda. It is often known as the Hand's more ruthless faction, as data brokering not only aids to fund much of the Hand's more physical dealings (such as mercenary work, or protection, fulfilling contracts and physical or demanding work.)Aether has intimate knowledge of the inner workings of factions such as Imperialist Garlemald, Sharlayan, has negotiated with leadership across Eorzea, and as the Warrior of Light, has had some beneficial dealings and often has been owed favor from the likes of House Borel for his hand in the Dragonsong War.The faction also has access to several medical and scientific personnel who specialize in fields not well known or acknowledged throughout Eorzea, as many of the lost knowledges, tomes, and journals kept by the people they have been entrusted to were salvaged from the archives of the Anamnesis Anyder, through assistance from Aether himself as well as borrowed travel with G'raha Tia's permission from the Crystal Tower to make transport easier. The Arcana is not easily bought or intimidated, as those who would seek to force the Arcana to acquiesce to their requests are often met by either Aether himself, or at worst, Tetsuya and his enforcer Gene Voidsong, who spent great pains to 'convince' the people attempting to take the knowledge that they don't need it, and if they aren't easily persuaded to abandon their fruitless efforts, other measures are easily found. The Arcana is made up of faction heads: Fool, Magician, Priestess, Hierophant, Hermit, Devil, Sun, Moon, and Star and is split into four separate departments that handle very specific needs: Wands (Healers/Doctors), Pentacles (Scientists), Cups (Brokers), and Swords (Assassins). When called upon by Death's Hand, the leaders of each faction (Fool, Hermit, Devil - Pentacles) (Magician, Priestess, Hierophant - Wands) (Sun, Moon, Star - Cups) (Swords report directly to the Hand), split duties and responsibilities so that there is never a power struggle, and if one of their member is indisposed, another can take up their mantle until their return. This leads them into being fairly well renowned among the underground and black markets as being an uncomfortable group to work with, as there is little room for someone to try and intimidate, manipulate or try to buy favor amongst the Arcana.Aether hand-picked every member of the Aspect Arcana with the exception of the lesser faction members (Wands, Pentacles, Cups and Swords), but they have all been vetted by trust and by trial, some being companions and compatriots that accompanied Aether or Tetsuya throughout the years as friends, and have become likened to family.
DEATH'S HAND ORGANIZATION
Fronted as a Tea Manor and Onsen, the Organization known as Death's Hand has been in operation for going well on 20 years, at least 5 years the senior of the Aspect Arcana. It's leader, Tetsuya Sakoda, has become infamously known as "Death", his sigil a tarot card marked with his signet, while his close friends and those whom aided in his formation of the Hand serve as his guard and Right or Left hands, members of the Arcana, including Aether (Called Angel by the Arcana), and Devil (Aether's older brother Devin), as well as Desire (Lucas), Delirium (Eiji), and Destiny (Atsuro, Devin's Oldest Son), act as liasons between the two factions of the organization and assist with keeping things going on the day to day front while simultaneously helping to run the physical aspect of the Organization including taking on 'murder for hire' jobs (provided the target has done something significantly wrong both on a moral and political standing to warrant such extremes), and training or vetting civilians for the various different city-state militaries via agreements with the Wolf's Den to use their games as training grounds for the new recruits.(More Details Later - Under Construction)
